The challenge: take discarded everyday items like plastic bottles, flour sacks, hessian sacks and yoghurt tubs, and take them up the value stream. Guided by the circular economies experts from STREAT, this hands-on workshop will take participants through the ‘double-diamond’ method as a starting point, before zeroing in on specific design approaches. This hands-on workshop aims to inspire adults and older teens about the possibilities of using design to create circular economies.

Attendees will also go behind the scenes of a social enterprise with a tour of the flagship STREAT location, which houses a cafe, roastery, bakery, catering and horticulture facilities.
