Entrepreneur and investor Jodie Imam has been in the business of building businesses for over a decade. Her legacy includes co-founding Occasional Butler, which was acquired by Airtasker in 2014; depo8, one of Melbourne’s first coworking spaces; and her latest endeavor, Tractor Ventures, which reimagines the startup financing landscape. Through her work, Jodie has been a passionate advocate of female leaders and empowers young women in business through mentorship. In this keynote, Jodie takes you through her story of navigating the tech world, growing businesses from the ground up, and ideas on achieving gender equity in the industry.
Vicki Stirling, CEO of Startup Victoria, then joins Jodie to facilitate a conversation on bridging the gap between founders and investors, and the way forward for women in tech.
