Why is there more food in our bins than on our plates? Waste occurs at every level of the food system – in farming, supermarkets, restaurants and home kitchens.
How can we see through time?
Our smart devices are becoming smarter – more aware of the environment around them, other objects, and even us. With the power of Augmented Reality, a new paradigm of user experience and spatial computing is upon us. One where smart cities and their citizens can use these new tools to see through walls, space and time.
Melbourne-based startup PHORIA has partnered with the City of Melbourne, Yarra and Port Phillip councils to create a unique four-dimensional journey throughout the city. Participants are invited to reveal hidden stories, uncover deeper meanings and experience something new at the Abbotsford Convent, the Old Royal Women’s Hospital/Lab 14 and the South Melbourne Markets.
Join us for a new type of wayfinding and placemaking experience – one that unearths where we came from, how we got there and how we can create a better tomorrow.
