Sunday 26 May, 10am - 12pm

Event-Image_Port-Phillip-1

Who doesn’t need a robotic arm? Pivot, bend, grasp and lift using a robot arm you create using recycled cardboard, popsicle sticks, glue and the fluid power of water and gas.

This practical workshop prepares citizens of the future to embrace technology and sustainability through repurposing recycled items. Understand robotic engineering principles, design and analysis. Discover how fluid power (hydraulics and pneumatics) works to power your robot arm and what exactly is the concept of torque.

For ages 9–12. No prior skills required.
