Consider yourself a backyard scientist? Glowing plants, DNA extraction, coding genes and other captivating genetic experiments await your curiosity in the lab.

This one-hour workshop introduces you to the world of DIY biology – a rapidly growing movement of citizen scientists. Even if you’ve never held a beaker or looked down the lens of a microscope, scientific inspiration is closer than you think. Bringing science to the masses, DIY biology invites you get down to the cellular level and experiment with simple life sciences and genetic engineering.
