How can we ensure Fed Square remains one of Melbourne’s key cultural landmarks and iconic meeting places - a space where creativity, curiosity and inspiration collide?

Hear from Hack Fed Square participants as they pitch their concepts to the crowd in the Fed Square Atrium on Saturday night, before a winner is announced. Cheer on and vote for your favourite ideas in-person or via the live-stream on the Knowledge Melbourne or Fed Square Facebook pages. Reserve your free ticket via the ‘Get Tickets‘ link.

*Please note, places are now full for the Saturday Hack session as described below, however all are welcome for the Saturday evening pitch night and winner announcement.

Whether you’re a local, commuter or visitor to Melbourne, you now have the chance to design the future of your favourite meeting place. Join other passionate thinkers, makers and creators to shape the future of this iconic public square. Take part for the chance to WIN a private film screening for you and 20 friends on Melbourne’s biggest outdoor screen – the brand new Fed Square digital facade!

Join as an individual or as a group of 6 (or less) in this intensive design hack where you will be guided through a creative process and interactive workshops to solve this complex problem. At the end of the day, you’ll pitch your ideas for a re-imagined Fed Square to an expert panel.

Hack Fed Square is open to everyone. No prior experience necessary. All we ask is that you bring along an open mind, a sense of excitement and a passion for our favourite city space. The Friday evening session will be held at The Atrium and Saturday’s event will be held all-day at the Deakin Edge.
