SketchNOW Melbourne

Draw, design or sketch your city of the future, with a nod to Melbourne’s marvellous urban past.

Head out on a captivating journey of Melbourne with acclaimed cityscape artist Arthur ‘Ted’ Powell, who will open your imagination to new ways of creatively understanding our streets, buildings and the urban landscape. Start by exploring Ted’s sketches of Melbourne’s history at Library at the Dock, before heading out into the city to draw the urban landscape of the future. Whether you’re an aspiring creative or are curious to put pen to paper, explore the city with an eye for the aesthetic and awe-inspiring.

Bring along a panorama or landscape sketchbook and some drawing materials. Additional workshops can be organised for school groups during library hours for a negotiated fee based on time, location and group numbers. Please touch base with Ted on for further details.
