Supporting people with Autism Spectrum Disorder

Friday 24 May, 10am - 12pm

Supporting people with Autism Spectrum Disorder

What can you do to support people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)? Understand over-sensitive and under-sensitive sensory experiences and discover more about the two hidden senses.

Learn about the lived experience of people with ASD and other sensory issues in this two-hour workshop with educators from Victoria University’s Early Childhood Education and Education Support team. With tools, toys and other educational resources, get to know how to best support and interact with people on the spectrum.

This workshop is suitable for parents, caregivers and adults working with children in their early learning or school years.
