Upcycle your headpiece

Sunday 26 May, 1pm - 4pm

Develop an eye for design and create your own masterpiece.

Create a head turning headpiece made entirely from objects and materials discarded by salons with award-winning and internationally recognised avant-garde hairdresser and wig designer, Shaun McGrath. Discover more about the behind-the-scenes of the hairdressing world and learn how to upcycle and be creative with things that others may have no use for. Workshop your way to a new way of thinking about hairdressing and hairpieces.

Selected designs along with headpieces created by Box Hill Institute second-year hairdressing students and Sustainable Salons will be featured in an exhibition following Melbourne Knowledge Week.
