Megan is a digital community engagement specialist who’s worked with international brands, government organisations and non-profits. Megan specialises in digital community engagement tools, techniques and capacity-building.
Throughout her 12+ year career Megan has created innovative digital tools and strategies, to engage diverse communities: from coal miners in North Queensland and Australian scientists, to PR professionals in New York and business executives in Brazil.
During 2018, Megan collaborated with other experts in the field of public participation to offer professional development courses on Digital Deliberation and Engagement Evaluation. This training is aimed at people working in the public sector and non-profits.
In 2017, Megan founded Future.Boutique, a consultancy that helps organisations and their diverse communities to do new things together using technology and created community new public participation websites for Melbourne Water and the Impact Investment Group.
In her spare time, Megan writes scifi and manages regular meetups for a group of 400+ Melbourne-based scifi and fantasy writers.
