Philippe Guichard

Philippe’s vision is to help change the way we produce and consume “things” by designing purposeful products and companies, ultimately for the triple bottom line: profit, environmental sustainability and social responsibility.

Philippe is an award winning designer having received the Gold Melbourne Design Award for Industrial Design, International JEC award for Innovation and Design and the Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame Award in June 2016. Philippe has worked for companies such as Masterfood and Louis Vuitton in France. Philippe uses the sustainable design cradle-to-cradle methodology. His products are new to market and have created new market sectors.

Philippe is a RMIT mentor for industrial design using a workshop style approach tailored to mentee’s unique requirements. He has previously taught Industrial Design and Innovation at the University of Savoie (France).
