Wayne Rankin

As a successful designer, Wayne is an advocate of the highest standards of excellence and professionalism. He passionately believes that life should be in balance and harmony with nature, and that money and greed is destroying our natural environment and the planet.

Wayne was a pioneer in the introduction of computers to the Australian design industry. He also instigated and co-founded the Australian Graphic Design Association in 1988.

He is still a practising designer, and for balance in life is also an Organic Gardener, Activist, Glass Artist and Printmaker. In 2007, Wayne founded Warrandyte Climate Action Now (WA) and was president for 10 years. He has lived in Warrandyte for 41 years in a mud brick house that he designed and built in 1979, where he has implemented and maintained sustainable practices.
